Signing of cooperation agreement between UNRI's Communication Science Department and Lambung Mangkurat University's Communication Science Department

The Computer Science Department of the University of Riau (UNRI) officially established a partnership with the Computer Science Department of Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) through the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at the University of Riau campus in Pekanbaru.

The signing ceremony was attended by the Head of the Computer Science Department of UNRI, Tisha Melia, B.Sc., M.Sc., Ph.D., and the Head of the Computer Science Department of ULM, Dwi Kartini, S.Kom., M.Kom., as well as lecturers from both institutions. This collaboration represents a strategic step in strengthening collaboration between universities in the fields of education, research, and community service.

In her remarks, the Head of the Computer Science Department of UNRI, Tisha Melia, B.Sc., M.Sc., Ph.D., stated that this collaboration is expected to open significant opportunities for lecturer and student exchanges, industry-based curriculum development, joint seminars, and improving the quality of interdepartmental research.

With this signing, it is hoped that the relationship between UNRI and ULM will become even closer, providing concrete benefits for students, lecturers, and the wider community.
