Students from the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) Information Systems Study Program have once again achieved impressive international success. Abel Hasti Ramadhani won several prestigious awards at the 2nd International Students Competition, held in Malaysia on February 14–15, 2026. This competition brought together students from various countries to compete in various sub-themes based on cross-disciplinary research and innovation.

In the competition, Abel Hasti Ramadhani participated as a member of a multidisciplinary team alongside students from the Faculty of Economics and Business and the Faculty of Agriculture. This collaboration yielded outstanding results in the three main sub-themes.

In the Law and Economics sub-theme, the team, led by Chairil Randy Nurrahman (Development Economics – FEB), achieved the highest achievements: Grand Champion, 3rd Winner, Best Paper, and a Gold Medal. Abel Hasti Ramadhani served as a member of the team alongside Hanny Sc Va (Agricultural Industrial Technology – FAPERTA) and Ebel Vigrajuska Asri (Management – ​​FEB). This achievement demonstrates strong analytical skills and scientific integration in comprehensively examining legal and economic issues.

Furthermore, in the Agriculture sub-theme, the team led by Hanny Sc Va again demonstrated competitive performance by winning a Bronze Medal. Within this team, Abel Hasti Ramadhani contributed, along with Chairil Randy Nurrahman and Ebel Vigrajuska Asri, to designing innovative solutions for the agricultural sector based on a multidisciplinary approach.

Meanwhile, in the Health sub-theme, the team led by Ebel Vigrajuska Asri earned a Silver Medal. Abel Hasti Ramadhani was once again a key member of the team, alongside Hanny Sc Va and Chairil Randy Nurrahman, demonstrating consistent contributions to developing ideas and compiling applicable research in the health sector.

Abel Hasti Ramadhani's participation in three different sub-themes also emphasized the capacity of Information Systems students to collaborate across scientific fields, from economics to agriculture to health. This achievement not only brings pride to the Information Systems Study Program, but also strengthens the students' academic reputation in international competitions.
