The academic visit by students from the National Energy University (UNITEN) to the Computer Science Department, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), University of Riau (UNRI) began with a series of solemn opening ceremonies. The event began with a welcoming reception for guests, followed by an opening by the Master of Ceremonies and a screening of a profile video of UNRI and FMIPA. Following this, remarks were delivered by the Dean of FMIPA UNRI and a UNITEN representative as a token of appreciation and to strengthen the inter-institutional partnership. The opening ceremony culminated in the signing of a Letter of Intent (LoI) as a symbol of the commitment to academic cooperation between the two institutions.

Following the opening ceremony, UNITEN students attended a lecture in Room 309 of the FMIPA Lecture Building, focusing on the Cloud Computing course. This interactive academic session presented students with the basic concepts of cloud computing, the use of cloud computing services in industry, and examples of real-scale implementation. Two-way discussions between faculty and students from both institutions created a dynamic, cross-border learning environment and enriched participants' insights into the development of cloud computing technology.

The visit continued with a friendly lunch before heading to the UNRI Library. At the library, UNITEN students were introduced to various academic support facilities, digital collections, and collaborative study spaces. One of the most interesting activities was a Creative Minds Kit play session, an educational game designed to train logic, creativity, and teamwork. This activity was enthusiastically received by the students, providing a fun learning experience while also stimulating problem-solving skills.

The next activity included a friendly session with students from the UNRI Computer Science Department, which strengthened the interaction between students from both institutions. A warm and friendly atmosphere was evident through various light games and informal discussions about their study experiences and campus life. To conclude the visit, the group explored the UNRI campus and stopped at the UNRI Lake as part of an introduction to the campus area. This visit is expected to be a good first step in strengthening academic collaboration and knowledge exchange between UNITEN and UNRI in the future.
